Reto “MAE”
Details Tour
Just minutes from your hotel, you will find an adventure activity worth making time for. With multiple panoramic “mirador” viewpoints, 5 different hidden cove beaches, and plenty of wildlife, The Reto Mae hike in Manuel Antonio is like an extension of The Manuel Antonio National Park. This 9k hike through the dense Manuel Antonio jungle leads its hikers back and forth between incredible beach coves and spectacular mirador viewpoints. Don’t be surprised if you happen to run into one of the 3 different monkey species that frequent this trail and call these trees home. This hike is easily accessible from any Hotel in Quepos and easily one of the best hikes in the area.
What makes this hike spectacular is the mix of epic mirador viewpoints and its numerous private secluded beaches. Make sure you pack a towel and beach supplies as it’s great to stop at a few of your favorite beaches to enjoy the majestic beauty around you. Bring your camera as the mirador viewpoints give you epic coastline views that are great backdrops for photos.
