Quepos and Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
Quepos is a harbor town on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast with an area of 235.8 km². This town is named after the indigenous people of the area, the Quepoa natives. It’s known as a gateway to the famously known Manuel Antonio National Park.
The park’s mangroves, lagoons and beach-lined rainforests shelter howler, white-faced and squirrel monkeys. Nearby sandy stretches include Playa Espadilla and Playa Biesanz.
The town of Quepos is very tourist friendly. It has a wide variety of restaurants, clubs, bars, a marina, banks, post office, and shopping.
